A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONFERENCING AND EVENTS TEAM MEMBER AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK.
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Head of Conferencing and Events you can expect your working day to include the following.
- To assist in turnarounds of events spaces in preparation for large banquets and events.
- To be responsible for giving our guests an excellent experience, from serving their first drink to clearing their last course.
- To execute our conference room sets with attention to detail.
- To be responsible for the cleanliness of all meeting and event spaces including opening and closing of our event bars.
- Moving furniture in and around our events spaces whilst demonstrating our health and safety features.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personaility & potential but here are a few of our requirements.
To succeed in the role of Conferencing and Events Team Member, you will need the following qualities and skills
- Experience of working in hospitality, preferably within a Conferencing and Events and/or Bar Team.
- Experience of working within a customer focused role.
- Able to work a variety of hours, including days, but mainly evenings and weekends.
