Our fine dining restaurant offers a world-class culinary experience, attracting discerning guests from around the globe. We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Fine Dining Maître D' to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.

The Fine Dining Maître D' will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our upscale restaurant, ensuring that every guest receives impeccable service. This role involves managing reservations, coordinating with the kitchen and service staff, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine dining, excellent leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering unparalleled guest experiences.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to

  • Recommending food and wine pairings to guests
  • Training and educating restaurant staff on wine knowledge and service Greeting guests upon arrival, managing reservations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.
  • Coordinating the seating of guests, taking into consideration reservations, table availability, and any specific requests or preferences.
  • Keeping track of reservations, updating the reservation system, and managing the flow of guests during peak times.
  • Planning and coordinating special events, private parties, or large group reservations, ensuring that all guest requirements are met.
  • Providing training to staff, overseeing their performance, and ensuring that all staff members adhere to the restaurant's standards of service.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the ambiance of the dining area, including lighting, music, and overall cleanliness.
  • Promoting special menu items, promotions, or upselling additional services to enhance the guest experience and contribute to the restaurant's revenue.
  • Providing special attention and services to VIP or regular guests to build and maintain positive relationships.

What we offer

  • £13.85 to £16.40 per hour (equivalent to a salary of £27K - £32k per annum based on full-time hours) / OR Salary up to £XXX
