Scottish hospitality operator Buzzworks has announced the opening of its 21st venue, a Mediterranean-inspired café, bar, and restaurant called Lido in Musselburgh.
A Taste of the Continent Comes to Musselburgh
Lido Musselburgh's menu offerings will be served in an open kitchen setting where guests can watch their meals being prepared, including breakfasts, lunches, and evening meals, all made possible by the venue's state-of-the-art cooking equipment.
Internationally renowned designer Jim Hamilton has envisioned Lido to provide a lively atmosphere that harmoniously combines with the delectable food and beverages presented in a transparent kitchen setting.
Authentic Mediterranean Cuisine
The menu at Lido Musselburgh will showcase a diverse selection of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, including hand-stretched Neapolitan pizzas made with fresh ingredients, authentic plates of pasta, grilled steaks, Piri Piri chicken, and an assortment of fresh locally landed seafood cooked to perfection on robata and rotisserie grills.
Alongside its main restaurant space, the venue will provide an array of additional facilities and conveniences, encompassing a bar area, a semi-private dining room that can be booked in advance, and a takeaway service supported by a specialized kitchen and designated collection point.
Guests can conveniently enjoy a drink at the bar while waiting for their takeaway order to be prepared, making it an ideal option for those with busy schedules or on-the-go lifestyles.
Expansion Plans
As it reaches a milestone of 21 venues across Scotland, including popular establishments such as Scotts, House, Vic's & The Vine, Buzzworks is further solidifying its position within the Scottish hospitality industry through the launch of Lido Musselburgh this winter.
'We are absolutely delighted to announce the opening of Lido Musselburgh, our 21st venue, and we're excited to bring the vibrant Lido experience to the town.'
