The Duck's Inn, a historic property located in the picturesque village of Aberlady, East Lothian, has been reintroduced to the hospitality sector as The Leddie.

Following its acquisition by Northern Ireland private investment company, Wirefox, in late 2022, the hotel underwent a thorough refurbishment process.

With its newly renovated 27 rooms and tastefully designed common areas, The Leddie is now poised to offer guests an unparalleled experience of comfort and style.

'We have worked tirelessly to create a space that not only provides exceptional comfort and luxury, but also embodies the spirit and charm of East Lothian.'

Robert Clark

The hotel's elegant interiors blend modern amenities with charming local touches, reflecting the spirit of East Lothian.

Guests can relax in the cozy lounge with its roaring fireplace and inviting nooks or enjoy a drink on the spacious front or rear terraces.

Shaun Lund, an experienced chef from Aberlady, has been appointed as Head Chef of The Leddie's restaurant.

Having honed his skills at renowned hotels such as Crieff Hydro, Duchally Country Estate, and Ballathie House Hotel over a 12-year career, Lund is passionate about highlighting the local gastronomic treasures of East Lothian.

The Leddie's restaurant accommodates up to 80 guests, offering a diverse menu that reflects the rich flavors of the region.

At the dining establishment, customers have the option to enjoy bite-sized dishes like kedgeree croquettes and curried mayo, or opt for more substantial choices such as flambeed steaks and John Gilmour's renowned Leddie beef burger from East Lothian butcher.

The Leddie's manager, Robert Clark, is thrilled about the impending grand opening of the hotel, emphasizing that it will provide unmatched comfort, sophistication, and the captivating essence of East Lothian.
