AJ Capital Partners takes over Dornoch Hotel in Scotland

The Dornoch Resort in Dornoch was bought by U.S. real-estate company Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Companions.

The fifth property in the Marine & Lawn line, joining Rusacks St Andrews in St Andrews, Marine North Berwick in North Berwick, Marine Troon in Troon, and Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland, as part of AJ Capital Partners "Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts chain" which is located in the top golf destinations in the world."

AJ Capital, headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., plans to reinstate the property as Dornoch Station Lodge, in honor of "honouring the lodge's unique identify relationship again to 1902, the Station Resort"

The hotel will be closed and will be remodeled to accommodate all guest rooms, public areas, outdoor and outside facilities, including a putting green, open fires and additional outdoor facilities.
