A new hotel has been opened in Liverpool city centre, following months of delay, with a £30million revamp project under way.

Originally a listed former Northern Western Hall alongside Lime Street station, the Radisson Reds Liverpool is the first The Building hotel in the north of England.

From the 1930s, the building was mostly unused except for student housing in the 1990s.

The 10-room hotel which opens this summer was originally scheduled for this year, but delays forced it to postpone it until September and then now.

Radisson red Liverpool, downstairs, features 5 meeting rooms for up to 50 more people for individual functions and 8 extra intimate not public dining hall with views of the St George's Corridor and is able to play host to up to eight more people.
