The former managing director of Deliveroo has spearheaded a new drive to link young hipster food labels with top London hotels and restaurants.

Dan Warne has secured financing for the Sessions Accelerator program from tech venture capital funds Kuvi Capital and Oasthouse Ventures.

It provides start-ups or street food brands with the means of rapidly expanding, while offering operators a new source of income in a profitable sector.

It has teamed up with restaurant brands such as Halo Burger, Lost Boy's Chicken, Fanny's Kebabs (pictured) and Pleesecake, as well as pub-bar operator ETM Group.

Ed Martin, co-CEO of the ETM Group adds: "We are delighted to be working with Dan and the Sessions team to deliver these great brands throughout central London. It has been very exciting for us here at ETM to build a new dynamic business model through lockdown."

Sessions, with support from Imbiba, opened his first physical food warehouse, Shelter Hall, on the Brighton coast in July.

Sessions hopes to recruit top chefs for the programme, due to launch in London by early 2021.
