"Fridays and Go": British restaurant debut in Scotland

HELLO and welcome to the PM Business Briefing as Fridays, part of the newly-listed Hostmore plc, has foreshadow a new era in its UK business with the opening of the first Fridays and Go fast food restaurant in Scotland.

New too are a 'bucket of bone' and a 'boneless chicken hound'. Meals and drinks can be ordered digitally, touch screens provide ordering and payment technology, and are served in recyclable and compostable packages.

Click, collect and delivery services are also being encouraged at Dundee.

The restaurant on Reform Street in Dundee city centre will have 2.600 metres of floor space and is scheduled to open in March.

Fridays plans to open up to 30 further QSR locations throughout the UK over the next three years.
