Enormous renovations are to take place and the Glenfinnan House Hotel will reopen next spring under the direction of Inverlochy Castle Management International (ICMI).
The renovation plan includes plans to renovate the 14 bedrooms on the estate from the 18th century, as well as a new bar and restaurant idea.
On the Loch Shiel riverbank, ICMI also creates a space for refreshments that offer local produce.
Norbert Lieder, chief executive of the ICMI, said the group was 'delighted' that the venue would feature on their property portfolio.
Jane MacFarlane, proprietor of Glenfinnan House Hotel, commented: "I am thrilled to partner with ICMI and enable the continuation of Glenfinnan House Hotel's more than 50 years’ journey of celebrating Highland hospitality.
Altogether, he now has a portfolio of nine Scottish properties, plus the Telegraph hotel in Singapore and the Liming in Bequia, Grenadines "biggest island.
