Hospitality Group Celebrates Success with Sparkling Bazaar for Staff
Monday, January 30, 2023
The hotel and leisure group Manorview spent £162.479 on all employees who have been in the business for more than 12 months.
A hospitality group with venues across Lanarkshire partied by sharing £162.000 of profits with our unbelievable team.
Overall, 389 employees will benefit from the Heartcount Profit Share Scheme, where the company will make 10% of net profits and pass equally on to eligible team members.
Any team member who spent 12 months or more working for Manorview will qualify.
All venues were closed for the evening so they could all be present.
David Tracey, Managing Director at Heartcount, also commented: "We're on a mission to make hospitality a better industry to be part of – so it felt absolutely right to find a way to share our profits with our incredible team. Without them,
we wouldn't have a high-performing, profitable business.
One of the key aspects of Heartcount is that the amount it pays the individual is calculated on the basis of the hours worked and not on the basis of their working role or salary.
"unfair to reward some and not others" - David Tracey
In 2021, the company scrapped merchant-based bonuses because it was unfair to reward some and not others.
