Hospitality Rising aims to create the biggest hospitality recruitment campaign so far
Thursday, January 20, 2022
The campaign is spearheaded by Mark McCulloch, an ex YO! Sushi marketer, who plans to create the world's biggest hospitality recruitment advertisement campaign.
Hospitality Rising have been fundraising for the campaign since the end of 2021 and will do so until May 2022 due to the Omicron variant and its impact on the industry. It's backed up by UKH, BBPA and BII.
The goal is to raise £5 million to succeed in getting more people interested in and joining the hospitality sector and help the post lockdown and post Brexit recovery.
If Hospitality Rising hits their £5m goal, the ad campaign will be seen across all relevant media channels from TV to Tik Tok and beyond. Moreover, it will run across 12 months from April/May 2022.
McCulloch already raised over £350k from a range of various investor, supporters and groups involved in the campaign, such as Hilton, Buzzworks, Di Maggio's, Cafe Andaluz, Rosa's Thai, The Pig Hotels, Athenaeum Marugame, Welcome Break, Biff's, Cote, Loungers, Peach Pubs, Black Rock Restaurants, Cote, Butlin's, Manorview, Punch Pubs, Rhubarb Hospitality Group, Pizza Pilgrims, Comptoir Group, Cin Cin, Wild Flor Charles Wells and more.
