Major US food chain opens seven new locations

MAJOR, a US fast-food chain, will be opening seven new eateries within weeks

Popeyes UK has confirmed it is planning to open the new locations as the brand continues its rapid expansion throughout the region.

The New Orleans-style chicken store, which has opened 17 restaurants around the country, plans to open an extra 20 stores by the end of 2023.

The first restaurant to open in 2023 will be Cambridge on 16 February, then Reading on 23 February in just a few hours.

Popeyes has not yet confirmed where those 13 will open any remaining branches.

Rotherham is the brand's first foray into drive-thru restaurants in Britons and was successful with inline locations and the supply of dark cuisine.

The only American chain will open a new sit-down restaurant in Chelmsford in 2022 and an additional seven branches around the UK.
