MasterChef star Dean Banks uncovers restaurant plan for Glasgow 2023

The acclaimed chef plans to open his first restaurant in Glasgow for 2023.

Chef Dean Banks has announced plans to open a new restaurant in Glasgow.

The food will be a version of the restaurant Dulse that opened in west Edinburgh last June.

Dean's new restaurant joins another number of restaurants which have only just opened or are likely to do so in Glasgow in the coming months, including El Santo, August House and Bru Cafe.

Drinks include a large wine list and Dean's Lunan Gin cocktails.

As can be seen from the name, the menu focuses on shellfish in dishes such as baked North Sea cod, St. Andrews lobster thermidor and crab red Thai curry.
