Wey aye man! Newcastle is named the best city in Britain for food, fashion and nightlife according to a study.

The Staffordshire town was voted the worst overall for its nightlife, food and music, while the Staffordshire city was ranked last for food and drink sales.

A bizarre survey asked 2.000 people in Britain's biggest cities to rate various vibes in their area, including feeling style, music and food, with Newcastle scoring the highest on seven out of nine feats - including the most welcoming city and pub scene.

At the other end of the scale, Stoke on Trent did relatively poorly and finished last in six of the nine categories.

Stoke was not though the only city to perform badly, with the city of London thought to be the least inviting, while Belfast did poorly when it came to sports teams and games.

The study was commissioned by global tech brand to celebrate the launch of their new smartphone series, HONOR 90, which is designed to help users celebrate individuality and encourage them to share their vibes with the world.

Bond Zhang, for HONOR added,"There is nothing worse than living in a place where you feel like you don't belong – so finding a city that suits your personality is so important. Embracing who you truly are allows you to express your unique personality,

interests, and values. The importance of a city having a good vibe cannot be overstated, for it is the beating heart that fuels its success, and makes it a place truly worth calling home."
