Six by Nico goes to Cardiff for first Welsh location
Friday, July 7, 2023
Tasting menu group Six by Nico intends to open its first Welsh location on August 14.
The new restaurant will continue its concept of offering rotating six-course tasting menus curated by Chef Nico Simeone and his talented team. These menus are alternating every six weeks.
The Group has enjoyed success with its frequently changing format and the Cardiff site will become their twelfth open retail restaurant, connecting to facilities with locations in Aberdeen, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Manchester.
The new Six by Nico near Cardiff Castle is expected to create between 40 and 50 new jobs for the Welsh capital and includes on-site, behind-the-scenes and management work.
In January, parent company Sixco said it aimed to achieve 'significant expansion' in the U.K. including the launch of its Valaria pastry brand in Glasgow and a possible location in Dubai.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) today warned of £11 trillion looms in the quality of liquidity management in Britain's wealth management sector - ensuring funds can cater to investors desires to withdraw their money.
The Cardiff site will create 40-50 jobs, and its design respects the medieval architecture of Cardiff castle.
