Tom Kerridge walks out of The Bull & Bear restaurant in Manchester

The restaurant, which features celebrity chef Tom Kerridge and is owned by Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, is planned to close in the New Year at a Manchester hotel.

But Cook and Neville have agreed to terminate the partnership on 31 December.

Kerridge confirmed that all employees of The Bull & Bear were offered roles elsewhere in the chef's business and added that chef Conner Black, who has worked for The Tom Kerridge Group since he was 16, will return to Australia.

In a video posted on Neville's LinkedIn page the former footballer said he enjoyed 'every single minute' of the partnership but the needs of the hotel and restaurant were 'quite dissociated'.
