Village Hotels Creates Hundreds of Jobs as More Expansion Plans

Nearly 1.000 jobs had been created by a national hotel brand when it returned from the Covid 19 pandemic.
Village Hotels is planning to launch additional locations across Britain after revenues grew from £139.9m to £227.6m in 2022.
The average number of staff across the group rose from 3,365 in 3.365 to 4.340 later this year, it was revealed in the latest annual accounts, submitted to Companies House.
The chain said it had announced 870 shedding jobs from 2021 due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
Even as pre-tax profits in 2022 hit £17.8m from £40.9m, earnings increased
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the board said: "Despite the impact of Covid-19 on the hospitality sector during 2020 and 2021, the group remained committed during that time to the expansion of the Village brand, particularly through its continued investment in the
new properties at Eastleigh (Southampton) and Bracknell.
