Work to begin on the £100m Angus five-star hotel and golf course

Construction on a new £100 golf resort, hotel and spa in rural Angus is due to start this summer, with councillors passing an updated master plan.
An Angus businessman says his £100million golf resort and five-star hotel will be higher than any other in Scotland when he has planning permission.
The Angus could contribute over £40million a year to the local economy, when it is fully operational in about two years.
The resort's golf course has come under the care of former Open champion Darren Clarke. A hotel partner should be announced within the next few months.
All this talk on trade-offs is ridiculous considering the potential of continuing to have great prospects on day two and three of the draft, either overall 21st in the Championship or elsewhere.
VisitScotland regional director Caroline Warburton said: 'It is fantastic to see The Angus move onto the next stage of development.
